Who am I buying from?

You're buying from Linniko Publishing, the publishing business of author M.K. Linniko. In these terms, "we" means Linniko Publishing.

What do these terms cover?

These terms apply to anything you buy directly on mklinniko.com, such as a signed edition. You agree to them when you tick the box before payment.

Kindle books and paperbacks bought on Amazon are sold under Amazon's own terms.

What do I get when I order?

The price, closing date and shipping dates for each edition are on its order page.

• A signed paperback, inscribed by M.K. Linniko to the name you give us.
• One copy per order. To buy another, place another order with its own name.
• Launch goodies, as a bonus. They may vary, and they can't be chosen or swapped.
• Signed copies are limited, and an edition may sell out.

How does payment work?

Prices are in Canadian dollars, and the full price is charged when you order. If your card isn't in Canadian dollars, your bank may convert the amount and charge its own fee.

Shipping within our shipping area is included in the price. No tax is added.

Stripe processes card payments. Your card statement will show MK Linniko.

To order, you must be 18 or older, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

Can I get a refund or cancel?

All sales are final. Each copy is signed and personalized for you, so there are no refunds or cancellations once an order is placed.

If something has gone wrong, write to contact@mklinniko.com and we'll talk through your options.

If we can't fill your order, you'll get a full refund. That includes an edition that has sold out, an address outside our shipping area, or a copy we can't supply.

To fix the name on your order, reply to your order email before pre-orders close.

Where and when do you ship?

We ship to Canada and the mainland United States only. We don't ship to Alaska, Hawaii, US territories or military addresses.

We ship to the billing address you enter at checkout, so please check it before you pay. If that address is wrong, any cost to send the book again is yours.

Copies ship in the window shown on the order page when you ordered. We do our best to meet it, but delays outside our control can happen.

Who pays import duties or fees?

You do. Our price covers shipping only. Any import duties, taxes, customs charges or brokerage fees are not included and are yours to pay.

These mostly affect orders shipped to the United States. We can't tell you the amount in advance. A parcel refused or left unclaimed because of them isn't refunded.

What if my parcel is late, damaged or lost?

Once we hand your parcel to the carrier, it's in the carrier's care. From then on, as far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for delays, damage or loss, and any claim is made with the carrier.

Can I share the book or site content?

The books, art, wallpapers and other content on this site are protected by copyright. They belong to M.K. Linniko or their other owners. They're for your own personal use, so please don't copy, share or sell them without written permission.

What are the limits on your responsibility?

Our total responsibility for an order is limited, as far as the law allows, to what you paid for it. We aren't responsible for indirect or unexpected losses.

Other companies run the website platform, payments, email and delivery. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for their outages or failures.

What about my legal rights?

Nothing in these terms removes a right the law says can't be removed. If part of these terms can't be enforced, the rest still applies.

Which law applies?

These terms are governed by the laws of Saskatchewan and the federal laws of Canada that apply there. If you live somewhere else, you keep any local consumer rights that can't be waived.

Can these terms change?

We may update these terms. The version on this page when you placed your order is the one that applies to it.
